Unit Export was awarded the contract to supply a number of Aircraft Passenger Boarding and Disembarking gangways to four airports in Samoa, Tonga and Tuvalu.
We identified a qualified manufacturer who could produce the ramps, ensuring that they met the requirements of the end users. The units were fully galvanised and came with a package of spare parts, in order to guarantee long term reliability. After the ramps were inspected at the factory, Unit Export organised and oversaw the shipment across the Pacific, where they were then offloaded onto feeder vessels for the final journey to the respective islands. After delivery, Unit Export arranged an engineer to provide training, to ensure the staff were conversant with the equipment.
