Here at Unit Export Limited, we are attentive to and understand the importance of the social responsibility of our company and working in an ethical way, whilst continuing to meet all the required standards. We are conscious of the increased awareness and focus on the environmental factors and we aim to act in an eco-friendly manner.

UN Global Compact

Unit Export Limited has signed up to the UN Global Compact. This is our commitment to operating in ways that, at a minimum, meet fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. As a responsible business we will strive to enact the same values and principles wherever we have a presence and understand that good practices in one area do not offset harm in another.

By incorporating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into our strategies, policies, and procedures, and establishing a culture of integrity, Unit Export are not only upholding their basic responsibilities to people and the planet, but also setting the stage for long-term success.

Ethics

We understand the importance of ethical considerations. We support human rights and aim to leave the world in a better place than it was before the projects we complete. We also respect the laws, regulations and backgrounds of the countries we work with, in order to create a trustworthy relationship. We are committed to working with the utmost ethical values and we will not partake in any business that we deem dishonourable or unethical.

Anti-Bribery and Corruption

There is an unwavering view from Unit Export for zero tolerance toward bribery and corruption of any form. Unit Export maintains this stance whilst operating globally, in many underdeveloped countries that may potentially be at heightened risk from bribery and corruption.

This view requires all Unit Export employees, partners and suppliers, as well as any other companies that are associated with Unit Export to operate and comply with the appropriate and relevant laws and regulations in all jurisdictions that are operated in. Unit Export maintains the highest level of integrity, whilst functioning as a company globally.

Any employee that is found to be in failure of complying with this policy may face disciplinary action, which may include but is not limited to dismissal and being reported to the relevant authorities.

Environmental

Unit Export Limited is devoted to protecting the environment and working in ways that actively improve the environmental performance of the company. Unit Export has achieved the ISO 14001 certification, regarding environmental management system compliance.

This helps to illustrate our longstanding dedication to working in an eco-friendly way. We are focused on sustainable procurement for both the countries that we export to and the environment as a whole.
